(HAMILTON)- The Butler County Democratic Party will hold four regional debate watch parties throughout the county for the first round of official Democratic presidential candidate debates this week. All events are free admission.
“In 2016, turnout in Butler County was one of the lowest we’ve seen in awhile for a presidential election, and Trump not only got a smaller share of the vote than most other Republicans, but also did worse here than either Romney or George W. Bush. Since then, Trump has completely broken his promises on health care, trade, taxes and fighting corruption in government. We are excited to give voters across the county an opportunity to learn about the Democratic presidential candidates running next year as we build off our historic performance throughout the county last year,” said Brian Hester, BCDP Executive Committee Chair.
