On your ballot this November, you probably notice that there were a lot of races in Butler County where the Democratic ballot line was blank. Local positions like city council, township trustees, school board, county commission, or state legislator can make a big difference in everyday people’s lives in our county even if we don’t see them very often–and voters deserve a choice on those seats.

But if nobody is stepping up to run for local office, we can’t fill those ballot lines. In a democracy, the decisions are made by the people who show up. We need good, solid Democrats in Butler County to take the plunge and put their name on the dotted line. There are multiple ways to get involved.
