BUTLER COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY ENDORSES CANDIDATES

PARTY ENDORSES IN HAMILTON & OXFORD CITY COUNCIL RACES

(HAMILTON-) The Butler County Democratic Party’s Executive Committee Saturday unanimously endorsed and agreed to support a number of candidates running for nonpartisan offices in the upcoming November 5, 2019 General Election.

Among the candidates the party will be encouraging voters to support, the party endorsed former Hamilton City Councilman Archie Johnson for Hamilton City Council.   In addition to Johnson, the party endorsed former Oxford Mayor Bill Snavely and first-time candidate Jason Bracken for Oxford City Council.

“Amazing developments are happening in the City of Hamilton.  The residents of Hamilton were served well with Archie Johnson on council, and we strongly believe Archie Johnson would bring a balance to Council that would ensure every neighborhood in Hamilton is been looked at to bring good paying jobs, affordable housing, and safe communities to every street on every block,” said BCDP Executive Chair Brian Hester.  “Jason Bracken and former Mayor Bill Snavely have a progressive vision for the City of Oxford that tackles the unique challenges faced in Oxford for both its residents and the university.  We are proud to support these candidates and know they will work to represent all voters in their respective communities.”
