“It’s nice after three other so-called kickoffs for Trump’s campaign in Butler County, they finally got someone with the same last name as the candidate to appear so close to the anniversary of when Trump lost the primary here four years ago. And after Ohio had the weakest job growth in a decade due to Trump’s failed trade war, we have seen a nearly 50% increase in requests for Democratic ballots in Butler County compared to this point in 2016, putting us in the top 15 counties in Ohio for Democratic ballots so far,” said Brian Hester, Butler County Democratic Party Chair.
