Butler County Democrats are excited to be attending two fantastic Pride events in Butler County in June.
LGBTQIA+ Pride Month occurs in the United States to commemorate the Stonewall riots. Price Month was first recognized in 1999, when President Bill Clinton issued a formal proclamation recognizing Gay & Lesbian Pride Month. In Butler County, both Hamilton and Middletown celebrate with significant events.
On Saturday, June 4th, BCDP will be attending Hamilton Pride at Marcum Park. The Pride March will begin at 11am at Rotary Park and the festival will continue through 6pm in Marcum Park. The day ends with a concert at RiversEdge!
On Friday, June 24, join us in downtown Middletown for Middletown’s PrideFEST! This all afternoon street fair on Main Street will feature food, entertainment and activities for all ages. Pride March will be from 2pm – 4pm down Main Street. Ending the night with a Pride Showcase Concert from 7pm – 10pm South Green.
